Our new range of South Africa-inspired HELLO slabs have the same delicious taste but come in locally designed packaging. The graphics capture the beauty of South Africa’s cities and pay homage to the splendor of the country we call home.
Each of the four flavours in the 100g range are dedicated to a different city in the country:

From Jozi to Cape Town and Pretoria to Durbz, we’re honouring the colours, people and sights of the rainbow nation with our brand-new packaging. Each flavour features different South Africa-inspired graphics enthused by city skylines, events, landmarks and site-seeing attractions which are easily recognisable to citizens of the country and tourists. The packaging was designed locally and captures the beauty of each city perfectly.
LINDT HELLO City Jozi edition:
This design incorporates the busiest economic hub in SA, the CBD cityscape and the iconic Hillbrow tower as easy recognisable sites. The decommissioned Orlando power station which is turned into a bungee jump site adds fun, playfulness & movement.
LINDT HELLO City Pretoria edition:
The Union Buildings which bears so much history feature in the design along with the large granite Voortrekker Monument, commemorating the Voortrekkers.
LINDT HELLO City Cape Town edition:
Housing one of the 7 wonders of the world, Table Mountain, the design for this edition features the Cape Town Stadium (resembling the traditional hats worn by Venda women), and scenes from “Tweede Nuwe Jaar” celebrating the New Year ushered in by the Cape Minstrels, which is a very colourful event with a rich history.
LINDT HELLO City Durbz edition:
Featuring an engineering feat in the building of the Moses Mabhida Stadium, Durban has the longest promenade in Africa and boasts a rich history in the Zulu & Xhosa culture. The warrior’s multi-coloured and decorated shield and spear is used as the focal icon in the design.
Our new HELLO slabs are much more than just eye-candy, they’re also designed to support and give back to the cities we live in and love. For each limited edition South African HELLO slab you buy, R1 will be donated to hospitals within the city depicted on the packaging to say thank you for their never-ending efforts to care for South Africans.
