The “honeymoon” phase of a relationship is one considered the most euphoric. A time where promises are made, the concept of time becomes distant, and participants feel inclined towards hoping for forever. After concluding a relationship, NVMI returns to the music scene with his four-track EP, Let Me In.
According to NVMI, Let Me In “is a diary of the experience, love and vulnerability felt and shared between two people at the inception of their relationship.” Featuring recording artists like The Woodz and Tom Saison, contributions from Muano, Fletcher Black, Tondi Rams, and Una Rams, the 4-track EP clocks in at just over 13 minutes.
Let Me In is NVMI’s first release since his debut single, “Hold My Hand” featuring The Woodz in 2020. Informed by his appreciation of R&B, alternative, gospel and afro-pop soundscapes, NVMI sought to illustrate the value of romantic sentiment, even if it only lasts for a brief period of time.
NVMI explains further by saying, “Let Me In is a personal musical diary of my most recent experience of falling in love.” While “what u need” featuring The Woodz is available to stream now, Let Me In will be available across all streaming platforms on July 23, 2021!
