Feast is an online TV channel that takes viewers into some of the hottest restaurants in Joburg.

Started by Brian Mushongera in 2017, to give viewers a rare opportunity to go beyond the menu and the food in their favorite restaurants.

“What I realized is that when you’re working with people, restaurants especially, is that the people behind it are just as important to making it a success, not just the chefs and the menu but everyone who’s involved and that’s what I wanted to showcase. The whole experience and vibe.”

To truly capture the unique South African dining experience, Feast Online focuses on stand alone family owned non-franchise eateries that offer amazing food and exclusive experiences.

“What was really important to me is that the restaurants don’t pay us anything to be on the show, what you see is a completely honest and objective experience.”

In the coming months the show is looking to invite subscribers to on the show to share in the experience, and eventually expand to other cities.

“I was doing a bit of research and found that there’s some really cool places in and around Joburg but they’re so far out and in the most random locations that you wouldn’t even think of going there, so I’m really excited to bring some of those on the show.
