SuffoCate Releases New Deep House Track, ‘Come Again’ with Rave International Reviews

South African Native electronic music artist, SuffOcate from Ivory Park – A township near Tembisa. This self-taught producer will take your breath away with the international essence of his new deep house track Come Again. A song inspired by a break-up and his immediate surroundings, paired with a taste of his musical influences like Black Coffee and Zhu, this melodic release is will flow through your body, and get you moving through a harmonious journey in the mind of this incredible artist.

In the age of the “Bedroom Producer”, SuffOcate is another example of how you don’t need advanced, high-end music equipment to produce music of international quality and flavor. SuffOcate produced Come Again with his brother’s hand-me-down’ laptop, a low-end music program, and production software with the help of YouTube to learn how to produce and bring to life, the sounds that dance in his head.
Next to his evidential natural talent, his ability to create music that embodies an international sound and standard, with minimal, low-quality, and outdated equipment is what makes this artist special and leaves you in awe.

Paradise Africa Distribution PTY Ltd. Label Manager – Smanga Memela, discovered SuffOcate as he was making waves in the local industry and gaining recognition from local South African artists and producers. His track with Leko M is what caught Smanga’s attention.

SuffOcate’s international sound and style have received rave reviews by a wide range of Berlin and German-based A&R managers. Including Klas Lindblad from Blackhead Studio and Berlin-based A&R/label manager Phil Darimont.

Klas Lindblad from Blackhead Studio – “I enjoyed very much working on the Suffocate material as it’s so fresh and unique sounding music, I think he will be one of the newcomers of the year 2021. Looking forward to the next mastering session with his music.”

Berlin-based A&R/label manager Phil Darimont – “I am amazed that out of very limited and outdated production resources, he can come up with such amazing music”.

Another gentleman who shares the same appreciation and sentiment for SuffOcate’s talent is the legendary, Rocco Rodamaal who has included his music in DJ mixes that have featured on leading South African radio station – 947.

Come Again is a taste of what is to come from this extreme talent, ahead of SuffOcate’s forthcoming single release 22Years and a five (5) track EP called Hlala Nam to be released in April 2021.
