Khayelihle Ngubane – A Rising Legend
Khayelihle Ngubane was born in a rural area called Cato Ridge. He has always been passionate about art and performance as a young lad. Khayelihle comes from a family of performing artists. Isichathamiya and gunboat dance made him realize that art is his calling.
Back in school, Valentine’s Day, Youth day and Easter day were always his favourite part of the holidays because he knew that role plays and stage shows will occur and he will definitely be part of each and every play.
His days in varsity molded him into a good performer, that’s where his professional career started. He was introduced to an agent called Viva Le’ Artiste Actors and that is when Khayelihle got his first television appearance on a series/Drama called Imbewu – The Seed. The show plays on E.tv channel 191. Khayelihle plays a character named Zamazama, a hit man. “As an actor it is very important to seek opportunities and to never limit yourself”, said Khayelihle. South Central- Bad Trip, a short film that was nominated on the Gauteng Film Commission (GFC), he also got an opportunity to be part of the short film.
Khayelihle is also fascinated by music and he is currently working with AllMaCrestion Media #ALMAC and will be dropping a single called Ebum’nandin. Khayelihle told Blazon Magazine that he always tries to focus on himself and his career because he believes that if you want something you need to work for it and push yourself until you succeed or get what you want. “I have so much more to offer and I am going to appear and keep appearing on your screens!” says Khayelihle.
