We met at church

The God in each other
Why did you get married?
To help each other fulfil God’s mandate and our purpose on earth
How did he propose?
He shipped the ring all the way to Paris and proposed during a romantic dinner
How has marriage changed you?
It has enriched the sense of selflessness and devotion.
What has marriage taught you?
Patience and the understanding that love is more than emotions, but a decision
What do you love most about being married?
Knowing that we’re building one of the greatest institutions God honours. The comfort of living pleasurable benefits that add up to serving God
What are some of the challenges you’ve faced in marriage and how did you overcome them?
Communicating one’s feelings without oppressing the other partner’s character. We overcame that by communicating some more.
What do you mostly fight about?
Time, Punctuality
What irritates you about each other?
The fact that I have to repeat certain things over and over to him. The fact that she doesn’t always have her phone on her.

We are very spontaneous, so anything we feel like doing, we do.
What do you think is the reason for people to not believe in the institution of marriage?
It’s God’s highest institution where servitude is the highest honour. Whether it’s to God and/or your spouse.
