Max-Hoba’s 3rd Studio Album BEYELE Will Capture Your Soul With Collaborations From Paris to Berlin
Max-Hoba’s third studio album and Paradise Sound System debut BEYELE – The
Journey Continues, is already receiving industry rave reviews and has playlisted on
more than 10 radio stations in South and East Africa, with the overall warm
reception of the album. Producer David Felgeirolles helps bring out his unique voice
and blend of African chants, soul inspired lyrics and a fresh sound to the World
Music genre. Paying homage to his roots and musical upbringing with his sing-along
lyrics and references to the counterculture generation.
The album features various established musicians and artists which helps create this
unique sound. Some of the featured artists include Benin-born, Paris-based Kora
player and singer, Djeli Moussa Diawara and praise singer Stoan Seate. Legendary
South African music icons include Freddie Gwala, The Soil’s Buhlebemdalo Mda,
Bongo Muffin and many others.
It took many back and forth trips between Paris and Johannesburg to complete this
body of work.
After four months of lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Max-Hoba will be
promoting and performing some of the work on various digital platforms in
preparation for the tour season of 2021.
The BEYELE – THE JOURNEY CONTINUES album will be available on all digital stores
on 17th July 2020.
