All this work took the department about 2 months to complete.

All districts in KZN are expected to have at least one hospital reconfigured, that will enable the province to have more beds dedicated to Covid 19 patients.
“In each and every district we have decided to have a facility that we are re-purposing or re-configuring, and out of all that we will have a total of 1 805 beds in the whole province” said Simelane Zulu.
These facilities are expected to continue operating even after the pandemic.
