Beauty Revolution Festival takes over the Sandton scene for second year in a row
On 13 & 14 March, Beauty Revolution Festival took over the Sandton Convention Centre for the second annual boldest beauty festival in Africa! The two-day festival was held on Friday and Saturday giving guests the chance to shop some of the world’s biggest brands in beauty, lifestyle and personal care and provided a playground for South Africa’s hottest influencers, media and content creators to flourish. On Saturday, 14 March rising star Rowlene took the stage to perform alongside the country’s hottest Tik Tok stars who gave a live on-stage tutorial of a viral dance. The ever-popular makeup artist masterclasses were hosted by some of the best in beauty: Rushana Isaacs, Marco Louis, Mihlali Ndamase and Kandy Kane. SA’s biggest celebrity and Queen Sono actress Pearl Thusi also attended on both days to host a yoga training class and for a meet & greet.
Beauty Revolution Festival was also filled with meaningful discussions by powerhouse panelists such as ThickLeeYonce, Lady Skollie, Thando Hopa, Yoliswa Mqoco, Leanne Dlamini and many more.
“We still can’t get over the magic of it all. Thank you to everyone who came out to support our beauty revolution and help us create an immersive and purposeful experience into beauty and culture in South Africa” says Yasmin Kathoria co-founder of Beauty Revolution. While the annual event is certainly instagram and shopping heaven, its focus lies in creating a strong platform for beauty with a purpose, daring to care for all shades and shapes in between!
