The Top 10 looks from the Veuve Clicquot Polo Series Invitational

Yesterday saw Africa’s most exclusive polo event of the year: Veuve Clicquot Polo Series Invitational return to Cape Town’s Val de Vie Estate. The theme of the event this year was ‘Colourama’ and might I say, most guests attended looking flamboyant and radiant as ever! We’ve rounded up our ten favorite looks of the day.

10) Fashion Model, Retha Lethoko

Retha kept it simple yet elegant in this sleeveless number. We adore her style!

9) Actor, Kay Sibiya

Silo Khanyile undeniably styled the hunk, Kay Sibiya well in this C Squared suit. Perfect eye candy!

8) Make-up guru, Lungi Thabethe

I love the way Lungi dresses for her body. Wearing Advice by Khosilesego, she looked nothing short of amazing in this orange suit. I’m all her for the puffy sleeves!

7) Entrepreneur, Zinhle Mqadi

Zinhle opted for an off-white look by Zarth, topped perfectly with a stylish hat.

6) Fashionista, Prince Thabz

We love men who take fashion risks and can make it work! You can tell his looked was carefully planned by how everything is so well put together. The cute leather bucket hat, the well-tailored suit, the accessories the everything!

5) Ex-reality TV star and model, Blue Mbombo

I swear I’ve seen this look on Blue before but she still looked stunning while polo-ing in Scalo Designer. Absolutely love the delicate detail.

4) The Jewel of the Nile, Miss Thuli Phongolo

Thuli Phongolo certainly made a bold fashion statement with her vibrant ball gown. I’m not so sure it was appropriate for a polo but she ate up her look regardless!

3) Fashion Model, Julitha Kabete

And the category is: BODY. Julitha is forever serving body goals wherever she goes. Her Dona Matoshi outfit didn’t really go with the theme but that doesn’t matter when your face and body is a 10. You do what you want when you’re poppin’.

2) Queen of luxury content, Kefilwe Mabote

It’s no surprise that Kefilwe looked every inch of polo-chic in her quirky polka-dot number by Gert-Johan Coetzee! Okay but let’s be honest… when has she ever disappointed?!

1) The most beautiful, Nomzamo Mbatha

I think we can all agree that Nomzamo Mbatha was best dressed. Once again Gert-Johan Coetzee creates a master piece and once again Nomzamo BODIED it. What a perfect host!
