Join TV presenter and business entrepreneur Maps Maponyane, DJ and radio presenter DJ Fresh and wedding and event planner Zavion Kotze as they join the fun on Team Jason, with E! presenter and entrepreneur Roxy Burger, Celebrity chef Chef Nti and TV presenter and host Kuli Roberts joining the opposition on Team Ayanda.

E! (Dstv Channel 124) sat with the respective team members to find out more about their favourite game and who would be their Celebrity Game Night dream team. Please see below pre-answered Q&A.

Team Jason – Maps/Zavion/DJ Fresh

Maps, your Celebrity Game Night dream team? “Jimmy Carr, Stephen Fry and John Kani. Stephen Fry knows everything about everything; Jimmy Carr’s hilarious but surprisingly and extremely smart and would be able to also throw the other team off a little bit with his tactics and his dark humour. Then John Kani I think would know things beyond our own generation and pull in his wisdom as a really committed thespian and avid reader that would be able to support us with the stuff that we just might not know.”

Zavion, Favourite party game? “I definitely love Beer Pong and I also like Uno, but Uno is only good when you’re really, really in the tail end of the evening…. If you know what I mean….wink, wink, nudge, nudge.

DJ Fresh, Celebrity Game Night dream team? “Probably Ricky Gervais, I love him to death, Friedrich Nietzsche and God – you could watch them argue.”

Team Ayanda – Roxy/Chef Nti/Kuli

Roxy, Do you have a favourite E! show? “I do, How Do I Look? South Africa, the show that I host… kidding! Though obviously that’s one of my favourites. I’m a huge Keeping Up With the Kardashians fan, I watch it every Sunday night, it’s very cool.”

Chef Nti, Celebrity Game Night dream team? “My Celebrity Game Night dream team would definitely be Kim Jong Un, cos I want to know if that guy knows how to have fun or not; definitely Donald Trump, I’m curious about what goes on in his head, and then Kim Kardashian in the mix, I think that would be fun – a bit of girl power.”

Kuli Roberts, who would be on your CGN dream team? “Definitely Trevor Noah, because he’s so incredibly talented and everybody loves him in America; Bishop Tutu, because I think he’d overwhelm everyone, and the late Brenda Fassie, she’d be absolutely fantastic, especially considering she died a long time ago – that whole ghost effect… whooooooo!”
