#MarriageMondays – Justice & Lucia

Where did you meet?

Lucia – Lol!! To cut the long story short, we met at church.

Was it love at first sight?

Lucia – Could be, I’m not sure… but not for me.

What attracted you to each other?

Lucia – Our personalities but later it was Character then it kept on growing…

Why did you get married?

Lucia – We love each other.

How did he propose?

Lucia – He planned a birthday romantic dinner at a private restaurant… it wasn’t obvious cause he is generally romantic.

How has marriage changed you?

Lucia – 😊 It calmed me down… Lol but seriously it turned me into a mother. I’m more loving to all, caring, and understanding. I love myself even more.

What has marriage taught you?

Lucia – To trust in the Lord, to love without limits, to love others and to not be selfish.

What do you love most about being married?

Lucia – That I’m no longer alone; I’ve got someone else bearing my load and knowing that I don’t belong to myself anymore. It feels quite good.

What are some of the challenges you’ve faced together and how did you overcome them?

Luicia – Nothing yet… its just been 6 months lol!

What do you mostly fight about?

Luica – Errr its not necessarily a fight, but i spend too much time bathing and face beating 😂😂 its not a fight.

What irritates you about each other?

Lucia – Nothing; in marriage you learn to accept your partners flaws and find a way to manage them 😊.

How do you keep love alive?

Lucia – Lol 😜… we just don’t stop dating and we focus on what we love about each other.

What do you do for fun together?

Lucia – We are both extroverts, but he’s an extreme one… so we go out a lot, that includes going to church for special events and weekend away trips.

What do you think is the reason people don’t believe in the institution of marriage?

Lucia – I think its because married people make marriage look like a prison 😒 and some make it look painful. Cheating; lies… 😔

What advice do you have for people intending to get married?

Lucia – Go for it! Marriage is extremely beautiful, if you marry the right person… no pressure! Make sure you marry right! And remember, you marry everything and everyone that belongs to your partner, so get closer to God, He makes it all easy and he brings sense to it! Christ or nothing!
