Finalists Announced for the 2024 Fabulous Woman Awards
These annual awards recognise and honour outstanding women leaders and girls making a difference in communities across South Africa.
The awards, which are the brainchild of multi award-winning businesswoman and entrepreneur Pontsho Manzi, started in 2013 through her Fabulous Girls Foundation.
Nine categories have been announced and the finalists and winners will be celebrated at a ceremony on Saturday, 3 August at Seven Villa Hotel and Spa, Sandton, Johannesburg.
Sponsors include BoAm Investment Group, Simonsig, Robertson Winery and The Laser Beautique. Awards certificates were endorsed by Dr Esther Mahlangu.
The change-makers who entered the 2024 Fabulous Woman Awards have once again inspired with the impact they are making in communities across South Africa.
The panel of judges presiding over the awards this year are inspiring leaders Professor Boitumelo Diale (UNISA), Dr Yogandree Ramsamy (JDJ Diagnostic Laboratories), Dhruti Dheda (University of Witwatersrand), Tshepiso Tsogang (Power Project), Moonira Ramathula (Futballing Girls NPO) and Sibusiso Raphekwane (The Transformation Legacy).
“I have once again been wowed by the high calibre of finalists and their accomplishments,” says Pontsho. “They have continued to make an impact in communities across South Africa despite the difficulties of raising funds and economic and social challenges. Each of our finalists is an outstanding leader and inspiration for the many women and girls in South Africa. We invite individuals, businesses and organisations to join us in tackling the challenges faced by our communities and contribute to our shared vision to move South Africa forward.
