Heineken® has collaborated with Global Citizen for a Clean-up & Recycle programme around the Bara Taxi rank area in Soweto on Saturday, 1 December 2018.
Soweto is one of South Africa’s most treasured townships. Through its rich history, it has captured the hearts of its locals, as well as global influencers and leaders.
On 1 December the biggest youth radio station in Gauteng, YFM, will be broadcasting live from Bara Taxi rank from 10h00 till 14h00, on the Weekends Unlocked Show with DJ Anathi and Tulz Madala.
This Clean-up & Recycle initiative will be attended by community members, Heineken® staff and friends of the brand. As a reward to those who attend the initiative, Heineken® together with Global Citizen and YFM, will be giving away 20 tickets to the Global Citizen Festival.
To celebrate the success of the Clean-up & Recycle initiative, Heineken will be hosting an afterparty at Zone 6 Venue, headlined by some of SA’s favorite DJ’s: DJ Franky, Ms Cosmo and DJ Candi and DJ Sabby as the host.
